Re: Crimebusters?
Hairs and fibers all have pretty distinct patterns. Try looking at them all under a microscope, and you will see them. I don't have pictures i can put on the computer, but you can easily find room on your "cheat sheets" to fit in small drawings (i think drawing are allowed) or descriptions.

Re: Crimebusters?
crimebusters is awesome
did it in 6th and 7th
and doing it again this year =]
most of it is by recognition
like tire tracks, fingerprints, hair and fiber, and the paper chromatography are all by matching
its best to get ur paper chromatography ready first and then do the powers and liquids
because u have to wait for the water to sink in
plus the one page of info is really unneeded
if u get the stuff will be tested on and practice
what i don't get is what do we do for the plastics?
hehe i hope i can get first in reginals (spelling error i know) again
first time in varsity team (jv doesn't go to state)
i wanna go to state

Check the Science Crime Busters Wiki. It is under "polymers"

Re: Crimebusters?
I wish we had at least once had polymers. They are my best/favorite part and after 4 competitions, including twice at states, i've never had them.

That's the ONLY thing my partner did at my first competition, and we lost pretty badly.10913 wrote:I love this event! I'm not too good, but i love mixing all the ingredients.
