It was supposed to be, but I heard that it was on a few B tests. Overall, they really throw anything at you, because the rules consist of such specific parameters. I actually think a nationals test would be the easiest I would take, because they will be sure to put mostly stuff that was on the rules.

There's no guarantee that they'll stick to the rules even at Nationals, so knowing pesticides could be a good idea even for B Division.

Oh, that is true- I did see it on a Division B Invitational Test on the Wiki- forgot about that lol. I didn't really worry about it, but I guess you might want some knowledge of it for Nationals

I think it would be digestion, because if I recall correctly, ashing doesn't leave any of the organic material... so you wouldn't be able to identify the organic pesticide.

Because Ashing leaves behind ash (durr) which carbon would produce when burned. Organic pesticide would probably contain carbon, so yeah.
