Z comes into my classroom every morning and shows me the countdown to the second till state. He then writes it on my board.

I honestly don't mind it. I am good at reminding them how much time too! We've done this for two years now so it is fun.

I am stressed... not about my events so much but about the whole thing...

It is stressful this year. Especially with the whole 1 team thing. All you can do is go out and do your best and see what happens.

I know, It really is the one team thing, I'd hate to be the one who ends up causing the second place team to loose, by accidentally having a major screw up (getting kicked out of an event, accidentally writing all your answers on the wrong blanks.) If someone does that on our team I will hunt them down...

Aw, great, way to remind me that I'll probably do that. I wrote all my answers on the math portion of the ACT in the wrong blanks, but fortunately caught it in the nick of time.

Yeah, we're coming down the night before. We'd prefer not to have to leave at three in the morning to get there on time.
