Chances of getting a trophy are 13.33%.
Too bad life isn't pure math. Throw in the funding and the dedication and the talent (as we all must admit that some people are just mad smart) and you will see that chances may be great for some teams but less great for others. =P

To be honest I think most of it is solely hard work and dedication. That number of people that are that smart is only a small part of the population of SciO. Although I know some teams study for weeks, while people cram the night before competition, and beat the other teams.

Funds don't matter THAT much. It's all about how much work and effort you put into your events, and helping others on your team with theirs.
It's also good if you're a good test taker, and how competetive you are. Which i'm super.

i'm not expecting nationals this year, but maybe when i'm a seniorr!

Hey. I am from Roberson ms and this is our first year. The school is brand new. Nobody knows aboutus and were doing okay. I guess. At regionals we got 4th and bekendorf beat us... twice. Riverwood beat us too. But i have faith. Just remember someone has to lose. :)

Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh, STATE IS ONLY 23 DAYS AWAY!!! AHHH! Panic time! :o :o :o
Well, I am now staying after school every day until 4 to make sure I medal in everything, and I'm getting anxious about not being ready for some events for OTHER people! Why? Because we ARE going to states! Its sooo going to be us and Beckandorf. They're like a bunch of geniuses, and we're just really motivated.

I'm really considering wearing a sign on my back that says, "Yes, as a matter of fact I AM robodude!" Just because I've been asked several times. Lets see, I've been asked by srsvball, cypressfalls, and... I think a few others. Well, see you all there!

I meant that even teams like Roberson can come and sneak up on you and take your spot if you get too arrogant... Just to prove my point that really ANYONE could take those top two National spots. And Roberson, best of luck to you guys as well as everyone else
