There is no FAQ - that is the issue. All I have are (conflicting) opinions from various members of the Ohio and National Tournament event staff.DarthBuilder wrote:Do you happen to have the link for the FAQ?

Re: Mousetrap Vehicle C
The FAQ wasn't posted and will likely not be (nationals can choose to answer them, they are not obligated to), nicholasmaurer submitted it to them, but hasn't gotten a response.DarthBuilder wrote:Do you happen to have the link for the FAQ?

Understood. Thanks for the responses. Is this FAQ that you submitted on soinc.org?
I asked them a question and they responded to me within a week or two (give or take).
Sorry if this was a dumb question haha.

(Unless you are looking for the setscrew. I just superglued mine on, but if you don't want to make it permanent, you might need the commercially bought ones.)

Is a laser considered a "non-electric sighting device"(3-h)? If so, what lasers are approved by science olympiad?

Re: Mousetrap Vehicle C
No. Lasers involve electricity, and are thus prohibited from Mousetrap. Here is the laser policy.piyushsud wrote:Is a laser considered a "non-electric sighting device"(3-h)? If so, what lasers are approved by science olympiad?

Re: Mousetrap Vehicle C
We drilled a smaller hub to make it fit our axle. Kind of shady but works. It is difficult because the hubs are metal but doable.PM2017 wrote:I would 3d print these.DarthBuilder wrote:Also what banebot hub for the 2-7/8 would fit a 3/16 carbon fiber rod?DarthBuilder wrote:How do you guys replace your mousetraps f your rod is attached to it?
