Hey folks - trying to settle a debate: If a balloon inflates via chemical reaction and flips an electrical switch to continue the transfer, is this Chemical->Mechanical->Electrical, or Chemical->Electrical?

I would say Chem->Mech->Elec because something I would think to be a Chem->Elec would be having two nonconductors of electricity to mix and become a conductor of electricity, or something.
