There's a reason I'm staying in New York for school, it's because we all know that it's the best state! And this just further adds to that

Preach! Preach!

I'm going to try as hard as I can to stay here for the rest of my life.

Okay, that page has been making me scratch my head a bit because of a few things. Mainly that people said some name change for Bungee Egg Drop and Complex Machines that isn't there and the fact that WQ is Freshwater instead of Marine.

I just noticed something...
Paul J. Gelinas was 3rd at nationals in 2010 (only around 10 points or so behind Arden, and about 100 pts ahead of Booth

).
That group of 9th graders that year must've trickled up into WM and played a huge part in their 5th place finish...because that class corresponds to WM's graduating class of 2013...

Division C States will be at...Kellenberg Memorial High School!
and Division B at...
Greece Arcadia High School!
Personally, I'm ecstatic about both locations. I'll be home for spring break during Div C states, and I'll be in Rochester for the Div B States. If I can't get positions volunteering, I'll definitely be there watching!

Oh yeah, I'm probably the only one thrilled about this. But the advice I gave to my high school team is this:
Take advantage of that fact that States now costs $0 and go to an invitational. Be it Yale, 'Stoga, or pigeon even Athens. For all LI area schools along with NYC and neighboring counties, states is now a trip that doesn't require a hotel- use that to your advantage and use the money to get more competitions in.
And Case, coming down to Kellenberg from Ithaca is still a trip worthy of a hotel and team bonding. Don't despair

But the funding for that. For so many people. It doesn't seem fair.
