I'd have to agree. It seems like on scioly, the viola is more popular then the violin

It is actually very weird. Outside of music events, I've met like three viola players. And then at camp for a leadership training, four of six people in my tent played viola. And as far as scioly goes, the string players on the team are all viola players (or ex-cellists, but we outnumber them!)

Violin, flute, piano, and currently attempting to learn guitar.
I have a friend who can play, no kidding, fourteen different instruments well. He's fourteen...did he learn one instrument a year or something?

let's see... i used to play clarinet but I had the worst music teacher during elementary school so I expected the music program to be even worse...
now, I play piano... yeah, typical asian stereotype

(Here comes yet ANOTHER typical Asian stereotype.....) I play violin and piano, but I'm probably just an intermediate piano player right now. I also have a little difficulty reading the bass clef, although I can sight-read the treble clef super fast, seeing as I play violin. My left hand also isn't that great when I play piano, so I prefer pieces that heavily feature the right hand.

You mean like...almost every song written for the piano?
When learning songs, I generally just ignore the left hand for a while and just learn the right hand. I know that's bad, and I should get used to reading both at the same time, but it gets frustrating when I have to play ridiculously slow, and reading two different clefs at the same time is still too hard for me.
