Yes, the blackish-metallic mineral is hematite. Also present is jasper (chalcedony) and tiger's eye (quartz).
The rock is called tiger iron, by the way.

It looked close to another form of limestone which is slipping my mind right now.

ZZzzzz again. Here's a hint: look at the bottom inch or so of the image, the texture is much clear-er.

Maybe marble. All white from calcite and dolomite
