Do we really have to wait 1 or 2 weeks before starting?

Just to clear up a couple things:
paleonaps wrote:May I ask why you chose the title?
Look, I have to say that this game was really fun in the beginning, and then when it started lagging....well, I think I speak for most of the officers when I say that we lost interest, and that combined with the upcoming regional tournaments.... anyway, nice job. I'm sorry I guessed myself out of this one.
I chose the title for a few reasons. Personally, I have never liked the subject of history, but I do like reading about ancient cultures for fun, and being a scioly forum, this was the one area you could truly be challenged at clues. I found that this would be an experience for both myself and the officers. I am no poet, but I enjoyed the word clues, especially the first entry clue (my favorite historical figure, btw), since ciphers just involved trying out lots and lots of combinations. Also, I was reading some old books at the times, so I though the archaic language might be fun to do especially because it is hard to trace.
In response to Koko, I made a list of 15 people I would target before I started, and for whom I had some sort of connection I could make. You just happened to land on the "hit list". I know the clues got a little monotonous, but the clues near the end, like the dvorak clue and the grouping clue were an attempt to mix it up.
I know that a lot of people liked the entry clue, but I have my own question...
How many of you just PMed the answer to each other?
And for those of you waiting on the seat of you pants for the next game, be happy to know that the invite has already been sent.

There was a collaboration on the chat for the first clue. Not so much for the subsequent ones, but the first clue was discussed.

Yeah...sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've had SO and real life to deal with.
Either way, good game, kjhsscioly! (And congrats to ophiophagus!)

Good game, guys! (Good job kjhsscioly and congrats to ophio!)
This was fun to watch (As a whole. The end was a tad slow as the others said).

I actually didn't get any help. I just kind of frantically tried websites, while my cousins were arriving, because I knew I'd lose a spot if I didn't. I was really relieved that you told me I was right.
Was I on your hit list? If I wasn't, you've broken tradition and should be ashamed.
