Fossils B/C

I thought the C test was ok but not amazing. There was a bunch of stuff that wasn't really on the list and it felt like the vast majority of the questions were really easy with just a few weird/hard things.

It's kind of disturbing that some people are saying an almost identical test was given previously. What is meant by last year, though? The test was completely different to that given in Augusta.

Wait, you mean last year we had the super ridiculously long Fossils test that I managed 5th in while leaving like 1/4 of the questions blank, and now when Im in college the Fossil test is much easier? Lame.

Also, Naps, I'll never live down Conor and Rob beating me in Fossils this year.

Also, Conor is going to friggin Yale, so he's obviously pretty smart.

Does anyone know any good books to read just to improve your fossils knowledge?...

Depends on what you want to know about.
My advice is to go to your local library ( I know I sound like a commercial) and look for books on whatever subject you want to know about, or search for them on the internet.

Well i've read a lot of books on the geologic time line and how evolution progressed and the journey from land to sea...

I need to broaden my scope a little though, ill probably head over to the library and go get a book on specific morphological traits of specific classes of vertebrates...at state there was a partial skull that was at one of the stations, it was basically a clod of dirt/w.e but you could see the jaw and eyes and wat not...i couldn't really tell if it was a fish or a reptile.

I would suggest studying a bit on half-lives, there was a whole station on that at Nats....and two half-life questions were on our math homework last night. My partner and I were way more excited than we should've been.

Sounds like a reptile, but I think you're gonna be in good shape for next year.

i managed 4th this year and i was 7th last year and i felt like we left 50+% blank, that might be over estimating.... anybody know what those two dark concentions were... i realize now they were probably jelly fish... everything is on the list in some form, not all as genus but those not to genus were not asking for that specific of an answer...
