these words are all things that the color BLACK symbolizes, and well, ninjas are dressed in black.
Or you could just think about colors and think about if you won't see me, then absence of colors is black!
Did that even make sense... well... usually people think it is black. Plus, ninjas are well known as figures who dress in all-black.
