Re: Texas 2011
Well, I feel like we had enough information to solve every question. He did ask me about that one; I told him that we didn't seem to have a problem with it and he said he perhaps read the question wrong if I remember correctly. O:
yeahhhh finally found this account again after three years hiatus xP

Alrighty, thanks!
And yeah, he would probably read it wrong and that's why not be able to solve it.

Re: Texas 2011
Also haha, if you wanted to double check it, the thin strip of metal was Mg (I knew this from using it in AP Chem/Pre-AP Chem). Mg had to be the most reactive out of all of those (because I don't think paper clips are made out of any of the alkali metals).
The metals, I THINK were Mg, Cu, Zinc (??? though I think in a fit of stupidity I put down Tin), iron (???????????? I know Paper clips are made out of steel which is mostly Iron)
If someone could help me verify these, it'd be really appreciated

To the person wondering what Cy-Lakes' efficiency was on their tower, I'd say it, but I don't think I'm allowed you know? It wasn't my tower and I don't want to release more information than I'm allowed. I'll ask her later though next time I see her if she'll let me post it though.
Did anyone else take the nuclear science test? Was it extremely hard for anyone else too? It totally blew my mind on how unprepared my partner and I were. I was expecting something a tad bit easier considering we were not allowed to bring notes and it was a trial event. Even with notes, I'm not sure if me and my partner could have done any better.
If anyone was wondering who was I, I was the guy that went up for Misison Possible and Remote Sensing at the awards cerimony. Pratically everyone on the team got at least one medal. Even if we didn't get a trophy, its still a major accomplishment for us.

When in doubt, C4.
