http://petrifiedwoodmuseum.org/ has some pretty good general info...especially if you click on the Sci Oly link on the left. its not very specific though...mainly on phylum but if you scroll to the bottom of the Sci Oly link there are two tests which should be helpful

http://wikipedia.org is the science olympian's best friend! (and it still is despite the fact that sometimes it can be unrealiable)

Once again, the audubon and smithsonian fossil guides are really helpful...audubon has good info and practically all the invertebrates but its pretty bulky. smithsonian doesn't have everything but its thinner...

ok new question! what do you NEED to know for the test I got the List but I am not sure which ones are the 17 invertebrates 14 vertebrates? and this is my first time like I was assigned this event this morning!

You can't really know what the test will be about. Just try to study as much as possible. If you have a good partner, everything will be fine.

hehe...like the night before competition i was cramming and found it...last minute thing...i was going over as many tests as i could...and trying to do well in them...

you need to study everything...you dont know whats going to be on the test until you get the test...just try your best to study everything...or split up the info with your partner

What list are you talking about? Is it the 2009 fossil list that you can get on soinc?
