Nationals teams better watch out. Friendship Christian's gonna take you by storm. This is our *counts fingers* ninth year. This is the first year we have gone to Nationals by winning State. One more competition this year! I'm so happy!

9 YEARS?!?!? Wow! This is my second :P but some people on our team have been doing this for 4 years :|

My partner was getting kinda pigeon off by having to study for States so much, and he said he wanted it to be over with during the Award Ceremony. But then we found out we won States and he got even more pigeon :P It's been getting better, though

I wouldn't be surprised to see you guys do really well, you were rocking Northmont if I remember right, and if you can compete in our state, you can compete anywhere.

When we got 2nd at Northmont, we were VERY, VERY surprised. Somehow our lowest placing was 12th I think.

I feel the same way, skillfulparrot! Our lowest was 11th and we placed 9th a few times, and we couldn't believe our ears when we weren't called for 2nd place. (that's when we knew we won states)

Boy, I hope we can do that. We really are bad in three events but get 6th or above in the rest.

Astronomy, Write It/Do It, Rocks and Minerals, Food Science?

it really depends on what you place in the three events. If you get last in all of them, then the chances of winning States gets smaller and smaller.

We had 2 (maybe 3) 9th places and an 11th, but we still managed to squeak out the win.

This was partially done by the 2nd-place team: in JYC they placed 19th, which was last. We beat them by 15 points.

So you really have to be careful and make sure you elevate the performances at State!

If you got 6th or above in every other event, that will definitely get you a trophy :)
