Mission Possible C
Re: Mission Possible C
Apologies if someone's asked this question already, but I was wondering if having two "stories" in our device would violate rule 3d. I have two layers of pegboard separated by about 15cm of space, like a two-story house, with the top layer being about half the size of the bottom layer. Does anyone think that violates the "top" part of the rule? Thanks.

Re: Mission Possible C
It was more than 2 hours. I got to my scheduled 12:10 time slot at 11:50 and left at 5:30 PM, late for awards. Half of my transfers stopped working after being stagnant for too long and I was too done with the event to argue for any points I could've potentially gotten.ScottMaurer19 wrote:They finished sometime between 5-6 pm after being about 2 hours behind on timeslots from what I've heardwindu34 wrote:How so?unknownuser2 wrote:Anyone else from NY appalled by how this event was managed yesterday at states?

Was this event even counted in the final scores?unknownuser2 wrote:It was more than 2 hours. I got to my scheduled 12:10 time slot at 11:50 and left at 5:30 PM, late for awards. Yeah, after holding awards back by about 45 minutes or maybe even longer, didn't matter much to my team because we aren't a large player in NY, but it very well could have effected another team.PM2017 wrote:Was this event even counted in the final scores?unknownuser2 wrote:It was more than 2 hours. Re: Mission Possible C
I got second at NYS last weekend... my score was 1340 and they took two actions - otherwise I had a 30s chem timer (it should have been 1 minute but I set it up wrong) and 12 working actions plus start and finish. It was pretty ridiculous how long we had to wait, but they let us drain the ice water from our device and then add back in fresh water when we were ready to go. I ended up finally getting to the award ceremony when they were already going through "s"... not cool.
I am in process of making a wiki page for my mission that details its construction, and I want to release some details about my PCB that I plan to update for next year based on how the rules go next year. Here's a quick photo.

This really is beautiful work! Which two actions did they not count?davecutting wrote:I got second at NYS last weekend... my score was 1340 and they took two actions - otherwise I had a 30s chem timer (it should have been 1 minute but I set it up wrong) and 12 working actions plus start and finish.
