Does anyone know how many Division C teams Region 12 will send to States this year? I assume that with 12 additional teams it would be more than the 6 from previous years?

It will almost certainly be 7, possibly even 8. My guess is 7. Region 10 received only 3 full bids for 12 teams, and assuming this rounded down from something as high as 3.49 bids, this gives a minimum of 3.44 teams per bid. Dividing the 23 teams registered in Region 12 by the 3.44 teams per bid gives a maximum of 6.69 bids, which would round up to 7.

Oh, and speaking of Region 12, are we getting an elephant this year or what?

So I'm curious, now that all invitationals and some regional competitions are done, how does that change predictions for states this year? Does anyone have an idea of how the top 10-12 teams in each division are shaping out?

Also, I have to agree with you, Region 12 will be very competitive, I am a little scared since we only got 6th in the region last year.

I don't remember Northville's performances exactly, but I think they'll most likely win. I assume that Grand Haven's team was split pretty evenly at West Ottawa, in which case they look quite good. It was also early-season, and I know that they usually don't compete until March. Stevenson and Troy beat DCD handily at Eastside and Frankenmuth, so Stevenson might jump to top 5. 2nd place is hard to predict at this point. It's probably a toss-up between Troy or Grand Haven. I don't know enough to predict the whole top 10 (except Allendale somewhere in there hopefully)

I would be surprised if Northville didn't win, but I think second place is up for grabs between a lot of teams at this point. You never know how a team will change from year to year, too - some get good suddenly like Northville did.

International Academy Central may also be a contender for 2nd. They had some really good results at a variety of Ohio invites.

That's all true. I won't be putting any bets on this year's tournament.

Does anyone have the raw scores for events for Eastside and/or Frankenmuth?
