What is the hardest event?

For anything Science Olympiad-related that might not fall under a specific event or competition.

I would think Mission Possible would be the hardest building event, because so many things can go wrong. It's not an event this year though.

I mean, satellites have been around for decades, and there are decades worth of data to question on if an event supervisor felt like it.
I agree. Remote sensing is really hard, especially for beginners because there is are so many concepts and specifics you need to know. Plus, as a beginner at the event it is really hard to get a grip for the concepts unless you're really smart or trained well.

Was? As far as I know there's nothing to indicate it won't be (sorry for the double negative).

Mission Possible (Simple Machines Version) is and always will be in my opinion, both the hardest, but also funnest and most rewarding event of science olympiad. Whiel you spend endless hours trying aimlessly to get the thing to work, in the end, it is a really cool device, and a great experience (building it).

Chemistry Lab (if you haven't had a formal chem class, like me), Circuit lab, cause some of the ideas are hard to grasp, and Astro would be my top three
