i'm in 9th too
i was looking at your regional score sheet today did you guys not do like 4 events cause I saw your team had 4 46ths(also 49 teams in one Region!!???!)
Also I might see you at pentathalon-our regional ran it we got third but it was with different people but im doing it instead of crime busters at states

yeah, at our regional we could only do a maximum of 16 events...so the ones that say 46 are the ones we didn't do

Why couldn't you do all 23? Were there not enough team members?

Well there's 25 events in NYS. 23 nat'l events and 2 trials. At regionals they only run 20 events, and for some reason you are only allowed to compete in 16 of teh 20. And yes, 49 teams.

Why wouldn't they let you compete in all events? And why don't they run all 25 events at your regionals?

That's really weird. But at least all the teams can only compete in 16. Do you get to choose the 16 you do?
