Yeah it would, but it wasn't specified, so I went with that because that's what I've seen used as an example for that kind of joint all the time.Fluorine wrote:Doesn't it depend if you are asking for functional or strucutral classification. Plus synovial joint types are what most people think of like (ball and socket, planar or saddle joints)Unome wrote:Gliding

I understand your reasoning and it is correct. I was however more looking to the question, as it is not very clear what it is looking for. In those circumstances I think you provided the best answer.Unome wrote:Yeah it would, but it wasn't specified, so I went with that because that's what I've seen used as an example for that kind of joint all the time.Fluorine wrote:Doesn't it depend if you are asking for functional or strucutral classification. Correct!
Your turn!
The wrist includes synovial joints, both gliding and saddle.

Your answers were both correct, so I guess just whoever gets there first?Unome wrote:Me or sciolylover?watermydoing14 wrote:Correct!

Re: Anatomy & Physiology B/C
Okay:
1) What happens to myocytes when muscular tissue connects with a tendon?
2) What is the name for a bone that forms in a tendon?
3) Give two examples (give the name) of the above type of bone.

1. The two fuse together 2. Sesamoid 3. Patella and Pisiform

Re: Anatomy & Physiology B/C
The myocyte ends; the sarcolemma of the cells close around the tip and there is no fusion (happens gradually at the transition area from muscle to tendon)
