I have to wonder if there will be lots of teams giving up their Nationals spot this year. With the economy the way it is and the less desirable location ( WA DC > Augusta- you can't argue that), I'm guessing some teams will relinquish their spots. What do others think?

Even if we were from CA we wouldnt give up Nationals!!

Probably because California is so competitive and has a lot more teams than South Carolina.

We assign people to bring in snacks for our practices (which are on Mondays and Thursdays.) The only money that we have to bring is around $5 each for a T-shirt.

Nah, it's really tiny. We're in the small school division for sports. We have a high school of about 800-900 and a middle school with 1200 students.

That's not that much time to prepare between regionals and states. What is that, like 3 weeks? I have like 5 weeks between my regionals and states (if we get to states).
