richardson: wow...your coach really doesn't see the benefits that the team could be getting from you! But, when you went to states were you in Div B ?... b/c in Div C (as I have recently realized...the events are much harder). Also, remember that alternate events count! Do your best in those events and when you win first in your events the coach will "wake up" and see your skills.
