Congrats! We didn't place at states this year, but it's my goal for next year.

My goal for next year is to place 1st in Reptiles and Amphibians at states. This year we were apparently only 1 question behind the 1st place team. That question was the tie breaker question. I thought we got that wright but apparently we didnt. The question said to identify this animal and something else. I think it may of been to state a unique charastic of the animal but i'm not sure.. if forget. Anyway the animal was CLEARLY a red-spotted newt and i could of sworn we got the second part of that right too...

my goal is to place in herpetology next year. We got like 19th at states, and the sad thing is, if we medaled in that, we would have got to nats =(

It really wasnt bad. It was just "identify these 2 creatures, and answer 2 multiple choice questions about them". We just didnt study enough, and took too long to identify some of them.
