Oh my gosh I know what that's like. My friend who is a year younger than me likes me and we used to bio process together last year. It's very awkward

It's all fun and games until someone gets their fingers stuck together with super glue, then it's just funny!

in my team, some people try to get their crushes to join, + to come to invitationals. And then we discuss for 1/2 hr. about swimming in the same tiny pool at invitationals/states. :D

Having siblings on the same team is the worst. Especially when your coach puts them in the same events as you. I'm on our A team and my brother's on our C team. Don't get me wrong. He's a hard worker, but he annoys the living daylights out of me. And it didn't help that we found out he was getting a medal before we went in for our next event. So it was irritating knowing that he was getting a medal before me. Fortionantly, he only got the one, which was a silver, and I managed to get two golds.

Sorry, I got carried away.

ROFL.

Yeah, not at you, but because I know what you mean.

Last year we had this guy on our team that was basically our ace for food science and he was in 4 other events too. He was really good. So this year he's in the hich school and we have a new sixth grader: mini-nick. I don't know his real name, everyone just calls him mini-nick or little nick. It must really suck for him to constantly be compared to his brother.

Also, my little brother just joined SO this year. Yeah, it's wierd. The first time I mentioned it everyone was like "They're brothers???" and now it must kinda suck for him too. Now I'm making myself feel bad for little brothers.

Your guys's brothers joined because they were interested? I'm pretty sure mine just joined because our science teacher, who is also our coach, offers extra credit to anyone on the team.

I dont even know how I got my sister to join. Maybe she actually wanted to join...idk.

Actually I am in Experimental design with her. She doesnt get annoying at the event because I always tell her that she better do what I say!! Im not being mean though, that way when I leave she will know how to do Exp. Design. And when I started doing the event my freshman year this upperclassmen told me the same thing :D and we did very well.

Moral of the story, if your in an event with a sibling let them know whose boss!

I'm lucky cuz my siblings are both 4yrs apart from me. So I don't have to see either at SO. I mean I love them to pieces but my older bro is too over protective and my little sister is annoying. But I think she should do SO.

my lil sis would take it way too seriously...she would get so stressed. my older brother did it, but we're 3 years apart so we never had to work together. my friend's sister is a coach. they drive each other insane!
