Doesn't seem like there is a plan to make it an event next here. Here's an unofficial tentative list, and if Game On doesn't work, then it might become Compute This or Fermi Questions.

Most of the events that rotate in each year aren't completely new events, so I would expect for it to return some time in the future since it doesn't seem like people dislike the event, though it's not possible to say how soon or how long...

I don't recall them saying that; I just remember them urging for more Indiana schools participating in SO. I don't think anybody can guarantee that for next year, anyhow.

I thought I remembered hearing them say that at the end of the awards ceremony...or maybe sleep deprivation is playing with my memory. But I think I remember them saying that. But yes, more participation would definitely help.
