Thanks to everyone for attending Battle at Valley Forge! Hope you all found it helpful and fun! Unlike most teams who stack one team, Conestoga splits our teams evenly during our invitationals to ensure the most competition for spots on our final team of 15. Thus, our top team finished 8th-- making Conestoga 7th overall. See you all at Yale this weekend!!

Hello friends! I'm here to promote Harriton Festivus Invitational for February 15th! If you haven't heard about it, here's a quick summary:

"Festivus is Harriton's special brand of Science Olympiad fun day. You, your team, and your friends are invited to come compete in your favorite events on February 15, 2014. Harriton will host the event where we run all of the Science Olympiad events multiple times throughout the day so that there are no conflicts. Competitors of all ages and all sorts are welcome and needn't be a member of an existing team. The scoring will not take into account team scores; instead, each pair (or triplet!) competing in the event will be ranked independent of the group or team with which they come to Festivus. The cost of the event is $5 per person."
Competition and fun blended into one! More information here: https://sites.google.com/site/harritonfestivus/

Registration is open. In order to receive instructions on how to sign up, make sure you register soon. Sign ups for events begin tomorrow, Thursday January 16th. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I did! I'm not sure on the scoring. I believe top 4 schools were Solon, Syosset (woot!), Mentor, Columbia. Anyone know more? Good job to everyone, and thanks for the awesome competition.

If anyone has the full ranking sheet from Athens (i.e. each event and final team rankings), could you please post it? We had to leave before that was given to the teams. Thanks!

NW Lehigh did very well for the second straight. They're a serious contender for top 10 this year.
