Bio-Process isn't too hard. But on one test they threw in some random rogue questions about plant cells. One was "Define grana." Does anyone here know what grana is off the top of their head?

I believe Grana is the fluid-like substance in the chloroplasts of plant cells.

of course!! this was a question on my bio test a few months ago. grana are stacks of thylakoids in chloroplasts

wait...there was nothing about plant anatomy in the rules...but they do have the evil topics include but are not limited to implication in the rules....

Meiosis and mitosis are 2 large topics. I would highly suggest that you find a good bio book, probably high school at least if not an AP book, to go over it. You could learn the gist of it form your middle school book, but to get more in depth in the proteins and cycle I would use an older book. The internet works as well but it can be less reliable with mixed content.

Thanks, and about the tree identification, does anybody know which types of trees will be on the test like, North American trees etc.

This looks a lot harder than I thought it would be. Are we going to have to accually do any labs? Are there any good sites about genetics? that is the part that I really don't understand. People keep talking about stations. What is that? What about the tests. Like I said, I thought that it was just like a lab that you do in science class, except maybe a little harder.

well the "labs" are the stations, a couple stations, they're usually not that hard... some of them at my regionals was to graph a scatter plot, find the volume of some objects, find the weight of some objects, define some objects and use a microscope. the tests, well they're written tests...
