NOOOO!

On another note, the rules for geo maps aren't posted yet...maybe they're making significant changes?

Triple E's sounds really interesting, totally pumped to see if I can get put on it.

Geomaps!!! I am happy, but then I just realized how scared I am of it >.>
Without the rules I guess that means this year will either be somewhat easier, or it will be somehow harder. I'll be interested to see.

Hey fellow NYers, speaking of Power Teams, what do you guys think about Half Hollow Hills?
I feel like they've been climbing the ranks. Any real threat to the FM/WM dynasty?

I don't know about Half Hollow Hills, but Columbia has been in the top 5 since 2009 and we're planning to go all the way to nationals this year. I'm sure Syosset has similar feelings.

To both of you I'll say that Syosset is shooting for nats this year. If we are talking about teams who have been rising up my team likes to always pep ourselves by saying we move up one every year. But I don't think speculating will do much considering all the teams will be pretty darn competitive this year per usual.
On another note, JuiceBagel3, I believe Syosset is pretty set on going to Athens as well presuming no problems *cough* darned "snow" two years ago *cough* get in the way. Hope to see some other cool teams as well;).
Edit: Why Theengineer, where are you from/what events do you do?

Well it should be exciting. I'm waiting to hear back from Solon. I'm pretty sure they're showing up at Athens again this year. It'll be nice to see how we compare to three national teams if FM and Ward show up this year.

I believe Harriton takes their underclassmen to Athens, so that'll be a fourth (though I guess it's not really a "Nationals team" because the seniors don't compete).

Hopefully my team will be there as well, assuming we get support and permission...

Heh, all these top 5 power teams (not to exclude Twototwenty and Brighton, with their 6th, of course) talking about Nationals while I'm here trying to figure out how to sneak Hicksville into the Top 10 at the least

*cough* no Ward/FM/not sure whether Theengineer is from Half Hollow Hills East/Div B besides Gelinas I think *cough*
But hey, again, we'll have to see, no accounting for what could happen.
