Hopefully they'll be issuing claim checks so you can pick them up on the way out;)

FYI: I uploaded a practice test for R&M into the test exchange. I recommend the PowerPoint version, as each slide is timed correctly, Though there is a word document version as well. Good Luck! Also, please give me feedback, as I hope to upload more tests like that in the future.

Thanks for the test! I have a couple questions. Is the test meant to be given with samples? Also, do we know the hardness of the minerals and rocks in the pics? I am fairly new to the event, so i wasn't sure if you can ID them without info or a sample.

With an ID event like this, it's hard to really do the bulk of the Identification without any hands on material. I'm currently trying to work on another test that works with information given, but it's hard to work in. In a perfect world, samples would take the place of the pictures. Consider this test a training of crystal structure and appearance for now.

Is it just me, or is webmineral.com down? Yes, I know isitjustmeoris[x]down, but it says the account has been suspended, which makes me think their certificate expired (that is the term, right?) rather than just the site being down, if that makes sense.
