I find it incredibly ironic how many assassinators kill off the people who chose them.

My thoughts on the clue:
The first part: Usually I'm pretty good at music ID. Sadly, I'm terrible at ID'ing the music that stereotypical nerds listen to. Which I would imagine could be something like this. Is it from a video game or something?
The second part: Well, you've got the injured Bills tight end (which gives me an incredibly easy out if everyone gets lazy and no one wants to figure it out) but I'm thinking it's something along the lines of failblog.
