Same here, but that makes me worried for St. James- less time to prepare. Are you going to St. James this Saturday?

We might. We haven't decided, but I really want to. We need all the practice we can get before regionals.

I agree. This is especially true for the Kansas schools, because there are a few Wichita schools coming up and it can help us gauge where we're at for [if we make it to] state. If you do go, watch out for the Sounds of Music judge >.>

Whats wrong with the SoM judge?

They're the same as those from Southland, I think. They were quite... intense. Very specific about what was necessary. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but still... very... nit-picky? Perhaps that's the word.

Oh. I didn't do SoM at Southland, my percussion instrument wasn't ready. At least having an intense judge is better than having judges who don't know what they're doing.

That's very true. St. James is probably going to be one of the better run invitationals this year.

Will it be more competitive than Northland? We've never gone there before.

It should be. As I said, there are some Wichita schools showing up so there will be more than just the regular metro area competition.

St. James is the "Thunder" Invitational, right? I'm going!
