Yarg, how did you get those?
I used this: http://atlas.mapquest.com/maps/latlong.adp and the first one appears to be in China.....unless I'm doing something wrong

fmtiger, you're not doing anything wrong. This is the important part though: each coordinate points to four locations (i.e. 40 could mean north or south, and then 100 could mean west or east)

I assumed that they were in the the northwest quarter of the globe (+,-) because we are all in the US. Also, most of the coordinates end up in US.

By the way, because of that, I just connected the dots, then reflected it the 4 ways, and got something slightly similar to pug's avatar...It could just be coincidence though.

So Google Earth it is. Anyone want to organize a list of who is the most likely victim based on the clue? winneratlife?

Can't be me; I don't live anywhere near Philly. Both amerikestrel and EAST live in northern PA (I think), so it's not them either, but it may be eta150 (I believe he goes to BC, which is Philly-area).

Also, because fmtiger is going away for a week, we (the officers) would like to request that an informant (preferably an experienced one, but as long as logical reason is provided, any one is fine) be given officer powers for this week.

If he kept up his information with you then you'd know that there is a good chance that he won't be able to leave because of the grounded flights due to the volcanic gases in the atmosphere above Europe.
