That depends on who it is and what the circumstances are... What's the point in staying alive if you're gonna wind up dead or in jail for life for it?

Not much different... I'm ignored quite a bit of the time, anyway. I'd just make up a small nuclear bomb, set it off in the middle of the desert, and then everyone would stop ignoring me... And, since no one would be injured or killed due to the blast location, I could probably get out of most of the charges.

WWYD if California fell into the ocean? Save for a few parts, like the National Parks, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the like.

Depends on their intentions. If they were peaceful/"enlightened" maybe I'd go with them for a bit. If they were here to destroy the human race or looked the slightest bit sketchy, you can bet that said aliens are going to find their ship crashing somewhere, preferably in an area which we can analyze the wreckage for technology and physiology.
