All the things in the sig have to do with electricity; Omega for ohms, Faraday for the cage and Volta for Methane.

The purple letters say "cryptic Cartographer". I protect Tailsfan101 because it is relatively well known that he did Geologic Mapping at nats. I suggest protects on people who did road scholar as well. Now the sig. The cage could refer to Faraday, and his cages. Volta discovered methane, and omega is the last letter of the alphabet. As JoeyC said, it is referring to someone who did circuit lab.
