oh well... not much time to change anything, and Chia is the one doing our model

I did that before regionals, invitationals and state.sciolykid101 wrote:I built mine the day before States and got 2 hours of sleep. XDkjhsscioly wrote:oh well... not much time to change anything, and Chia is the one doing our model
You should have a key that describes what represents what in your model, and a paragraph or so explaining why you put in what you did and how it's relevant to the protein's function.GCXC wrote:This also is a trial event in texas im kinda confused on what im supposed to write on my index cards because im not sure if we just say whats what from my model or if i say a story and describe whats what in there???
You can show anything that you think helps make the function of the protein clearer. Disulfide bonds could be useful- since they're vital in the tertiary structure of the protein- but hydrogen bonds are probably mostly unnecessary. Use your own judgement, though.GCXC wrote:alrite that helps and is there anything else we put besides sidechains and associated molecules like disulfide or hydrogen bonds
They will give you very precise instructions for how to set up the on-site environment, or else it will already be open for you. It will look exactly like the Jmol environment for the pre-build that's available on the MSOE site, except instead of being 5HMG, it will be 2HU4.GCXC wrote:what is the environment for the on site likelike is jmol already up or do we have to look through a file???
