USGS is a really good resource also.

the hardest part about dynamic planet was learning about sea floor spreading and the hawaiian islands! Some of the questions at the state level exam asked from specific distances between the hawaiian islands and we got totally confused. Anyway, I have never personally won a metal in dynamic planet, although I did come close in the regionals; 4th place!! We hope to come back this year and at least win a metal in the invitational round for dynamic planet. what was your hardest concern?

yea that was about calculating the rate of sea floor spreading if i remember right you distance divided by time to get your answer

I just had my Geo 102 exam, and it was basically a Dynamic Planet test.
Except ridiculously easy.
2009 events:
Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.
Dynamic: 1st @ reg. 19thish @ states, 18th @ nats
Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(
Cell Bio: 9th @ reg. 18th @ nats
Remote: 6th @ states 3rd @ Nats
Ecology: 5th @ Nats
