I looked up the number 2587 and turned up this article about a molecule called galanin: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/2587

So I change my protection to Galahad because of galanin and because of the reference to Hawaii.

Although the word snag still confuses me. I feel like it’s part of the clue but I don’t know how it relates.
