Really minor detail but having profile pictures that are larger than 6 KiB and 75 by 76 pixels would be nice lol - I've resorted to the horrendous Scratch cat because I couldn't find anything else xD

I second this. I've tried three times, and given up three times to set my icon to an astronomy image, or my school's logo etc.

Thirded. I think that even if the max pixel space was expanded to 128 x 128, it would open up lots more possibilities.

The main reason against larger profile pictures is the amount of storage resources that images take up, and even small increases add up with the large number of users that would use larger images. Also its a fun tradition and challenge to have to work to make an avatar!

There are ways to resize the photo. I did it to mine.

"Pixel Editor" also works.That is what I used
