I live in NC, in the Eastern US, where the state bird is the cardinal. I also do Microbe Mission (hence the microscopes). It's possible that the clue refers to me, although I certainly think that CMVSavalachestudent is a better protect.

As I prepared my next murder on my most beloved guests, the alarm systems went off, and a security transmission informed me that CVMSAvalacheStudent had been taken away by the cunning officers.
You may laugh now, but beware, for the future shall hold even graver outcomes for the residents...

Considering the misspelling of scornful, and use of the word grand, it might indicate it has to do with someone from Grand Haven.
