I don’t know if that’s sarcasm or not, especially with a frowny face

He was saying that you probably should have picked a picture that doesn't clearly show the answer to one of the questions (
I assume this is what it does when it's scared, though I haven't studied anything about snakes yet).
But you wouldn’t know that if you didn’t study it.
It’s in the picture but how do you know if it just does that or it’s showing the other side of the tail so that you can ID it easier?

If there's a question asking that, it becomes trivial. That's how I did relatively well on Herps this year without having studied anything yet - lots of questions where the way it was worded was an easy giveaway.

1. What is this reptile's reproduction type? (i.e. viviparous)
2. What is this snake's genus and why is it that?
3. Name a predator of this (that is a snake).
4. Describe what this snake does when scared.
5. Is this nocturnal or diurnal?
Pull up with your ring neck snake game y'all.
1.Oviparous
2.Diadophis because I said so
3.Bigger snake (duh)
4.Show its bright red belly
5.Nocturnal

1. Correct
2. It is because diadem means headband in Greek, ophios means snake in Greek.
3. Ok fine. But more specific would be racers, king snakes.
4. Curls it's tail (like in the picture)
5. Correct

Trick question? This is an adult salamander. Unless you mean life cycle, in which case we'd see some eggs eventually.

That was my thought although I was going to say "death?"
