That's not how it works.Froggie wrote:I think we should just have someone pick a target, and whenever people have time they do it, and whoever got the most points pick the next target.

Re: Optics B/C
This is just something for our practice. We need 1 person to pick a target xcm away from the center and this is how we decide. It is just for practice.CVMSAvalacheStudent wrote:That's not how it works.Froggie wrote:I think we should just have someone pick a target, and whenever people have time they do it, and whoever got the most points pick the next target.

Thank You! If you can post the planned parts we can start ordering it ahead of time (we know it isn't final).chalker wrote:Yep... (1) What happens when you accidently knock over the mirror or move the mirror? (2) Can you intentionally lift the barrier mirror and put it back down (to put something under the barrier mirror)? (3) is the location of the barrier mirror marked? How does the proctor ensure that it is not moved?Froggie wrote:Keep in mind that you can't move the barrier mirror.bhandzicsmith64 wrote:Question, can you place a piece of paper over the laser shoot board so you can place your mirrors correctly?

Re: Optics B/C
(1) It depends on the supervisor I guess: We did that at states and he let us put it back up. I don't know if every supervisor will be that nice.5uper5tring wrote:(1) What happens when you accidently knock over the mirror or move the mirror? (2) No
(3) Some proctors will have it taped down (like at nats this year) and of course the proctor will be watching you.

Are you allowed to use tape to tape down templates or paper on the kit? Thanks!Froggie wrote:(1) It depends on the supervisor I guess: We did that at states and he let us put it back up. I think so, although I’ve never done that so you’ll have to check on that somewhere.5uper5tring wrote:Are you allowed to use tape to tape down templates or paper on the kit? Re: Optics B/C
As long as you can remove it without damaging the setup, it should be ok.
