A few reminders to participating teams as we approach competition day:
  1. Build-event self scheduling begins on Avogadro this coming Monday (January 22) at 6 PM EST at https://app.avogadro.ws/invitational/princeton-c/.
  2. T-shirt preorders are due Tuesday January 23 at 5 PM EST and the order link is at https://goo.gl/forms/BQSfthlGUwhCit4z1.
  3. Full event schedule, team homerooms, required forms/waivers, trial events, information about food and travel, and more can be found on the Day-of page of our website: https://scioly.princeton.edu/dayof. More information will be added in the coming weeks as needed.
  4. As stated in tournament policies, we will be following regional rules for events that differentiate between different levels of competition (such as building event bonuses). Teams are limited to 15 main competitors per national standards, however any member of your school's Science Olympiad team may compete in trial events. Trial events are optional and do not count toward team scores.
We look forward to welcoming you to campus in a little over 3 weeks!!

With love,
The 2018 Princeton University Science Olympiad Team

I've made a live medal counter here because screw it why not; I'm there so might as well make the most of it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

I want to make my own but I'm too lazy to track all of them so I wanted to limit it to like the top 10 teams, anyone want to make predictions so I know which teams' medals to track?

Im not the most knowledgeable person on this region, but a few teams to look out for off the top of my head:
WWPN Team 1
WWPN Team 2
WWPS
Montgomery
Boca Raton
Penncrest
Great Neck South
Connestoga A
Camas
Lower Merion A
Bayard Rustin A
John P Stevens A

Hopefully I hit the top 6 out of the teams listed.
Somebody more informed please feel free to adjust this.

Of course I hope that that happens, but Regionals is really no indication, given how few events are run and how all the teams are basically just throwing freshmen at the events. This year, both WWP North and WWP South will be at Yale prior to Princeton, so that's probably more likely to be an indicator of how we stack up against each other.

Do trial events count towards final score at Princeton?

I would put Charter School of Wilmington into this list, but it looks good otherwise. East Brunswick, Princeton, South Brunswick, and Centennial would make up my next tier of teams, but I probably wouldn't expect any of them to make the top 6.

Oh yeah that reminds me...

https://www.when2meet.com/?6490390-EsTJc

If you're going to be there, we're gonna try to arrange a somewhat big scioly.org meetup with whoever's there. For those who'll still be around after awards, there may be plans to go get ice cream at the Bent Spoon (on recommendation from knottingpurple)
