hey, look, just by posting this, i'm adding a post to my "useless" post count!

fmtiger, here's how:
If you go to a users Member Profile, click on the number of posts they have. Then in the top right you can see how many total posts they have.
Maybe you could do a users useful percentage by dividing the number of useful by the useless. If we did that, I'd be 35% useful.

Technically speaking, your "useful percentage" would be useful posts over total posts. You're right, though, the ratio of useful to useless posts might be more telling.
