Do we need to know about tree rings?

It was on the Dynamic Planet test for nationals 2000.EASTstroudsburg13 wrote:No problem.RightorRong wrote:Thanks for the advice, EASTstroudsburg13.
To show how earthquakes and volcanoes affect tree growth, maybe? It doesn't sound like something you should find on a test.
That seems like a long time ago, maybe the rules had something about that?RightorRong wrote:It was on the Dynamic Planet test for nationals 2000.EASTstroudsburg13 wrote:No problem.RightorRong wrote:Thanks for the advice, EASTstroudsburg13.

The event Dynamic Planet has a different topic every time it comes back. Past topics that I know of are rivers and lakes, and Oceanography. I'm sure the topic for 2000 could have had tree rings.RightorRong wrote:It was on the Dynamic Planet test for nationals 2000.EASTstroudsburg13 wrote:No problem.RightorRong wrote:Thanks for the advice, EASTstroudsburg13.

it also keeps DP for glaciers, which is in between rivers/lakes and oceanographygyourkoshaven wrote:I think it's a rotation where the topic stays for 2 years. The rotation goes from Earthquakes+Volcanoes to Rivers and Lakes to Oceanography. It keeps the dynamic planet name for the rivers topic. This is just what I've heard from "elders" on my team.
