Well as 49ers previously stated that is why it is called Science Olympiad. There is no physcial part about science.

1. Remember how the 6th grader on your team did not know sublimation because that's 8th grade science?49ers wrote:1st how did we not do perfect at the mental parts?EASTstroudsburg13 wrote:Well, not completely perfect, you guys had some trouble on one or two of the stations. 2. none of you excelled in any of them, but I guess the group walk and brooming the bottle into the bucket were the least epic fails.

That's why most teams have their older kids doing the event.EASTstroudsburg13 wrote:1. Remember how the 6th grader on your team did not know sublimation because that's 8th grade science?

Re: The Society for the Discontinuation of the Pentathlon
It's mostly just how thorough your science classes have been. I mean the physical challenges at states were pretty easy (sorry J.T. Lambert people), and it just depends on what your mental question is. I really think the physical part is there just because it's pointless to have an event where 4 kids each answer a question. And most of the challenges are something you pick up from playing sports, or in gym class.

Ever heard of physics?karatekid44 wrote:There is no physcial part about science.
