I'm pretty sure the car was barely 250g, and I heard from my friend that they used 1 prop.

In addition to requiring an automatic shutoff method, I think requiring there to be some form of barrier around the propeller would greatly improve safety. Now this could be as big as almost making a ducted fan, or as simple as having a stiff loop of wire around the propeller.

2 days before competition. My car hits my breaking system, flips, breaks prop, short circuits the battery, and catches on fire. It wasn't the best day but I luckily had a last minute solution.

That just where I am as well. I left our ramp for the gravity vehicle event in our covered carport Tuesday night and we had a horrible storm that blew rain in to the carport and all over the ramp.
The ramps supports were made of particle board plywood and absorbed so much moisture that the ramp was unusably crooked. We made a new ramp yesterday and now have to gather all our data all over again. At least we had time. My worst example of this occured the morning of the event and we had to drop out of it. It is almost too hard to write about.

Which direction is it tipping? If you mean it is tipping to the side and getting stuck, you either likely need to balance the mass or realign the magnets.

It keeps tipping to both sides. i cant seem to figure out the balance of the vehicle but i have 2 motors and 2 fans and 2 batteries powering both of them it weighs about 52 grams without the magnets

Do you have a really low center of gravity?(when it's set on a table is it really easy or really hard to tip over) also, how are the vehicle magnets aligned with the track magnets? Are they directly above, or is are the vehicle magnets closer together than the track magnets?

what you mean by the last part? and it is really hard to tip over.

The spacing of the magnets is what I'm asking about. How does the spacing between the magnets on the track compare to the spacing of the magnets on the vehicle?
