How do u identify Nerodia(water snakes)??? they're so...random and like a lot of other snakes...

Look at the patterns on the tail and head.

My regions always have pictures of specimens, states always has live specimens.

At regionals we had live specimens, one snake call(rattle) and the rest was identify this reptile/amphibians
