Weird things that have happened at your school?

Well, it didn't happen at my school, rather, my big sister's school, where I'm going to go in a few years. So, we all sat down for the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2010. We're halfway through, and the students are getting their diplomas. And then, just as we reach around the 'M's, a guy in Speedo goes in, yelling his head off and waving the Confederate flag (or what looks like the Confederate flag from where I sit). Everybody's all silent, and then this one guy snaps a picture of the guy wearing Speedo. And then the ceremony resumes.

Ummm..... somebody set off a bomb in a toilet. Thats about it.

Well, last year, the school though it was a good idea to not turn off the tracking software in our computers. Thousands of photos were taken through our computers' webcams, several with students, in their homes, in various states of undress. The student who sued the school, a known delinquent, won hundreds of thousands of dollars. The sophomore class, at the time, was reading 1984 .

But it's all over now. That's how it is in my district: another day, another lawsuit.

Our old middle school science olympiad coach got fired for being a pedophile. It was rather unfortunate, since he was a really good coach (a lot better than the one he was replaced with).

lol, one of our elementary school principals- actually the best principal I had until high school- was fired for similar reasons >.>

Hhm bomb threat 3 minutes after tv story airs about a mother getting sent to jail for falsifying school documents and not paying back tuition. Coincidence? Then a Youtube fight at the high school. Within 3 weeks. Peaceful suburban Ohio.

Weird things that have happened here?

Our old principal once chased a student on the school's roof.

This year, some kid brought weed to school in his sock. Considering we have uniforms, there really wasn't a good way to hide that. My Art teacher thought it was funny that he hid it in his sock.

Last year, in my brother's AP US History class, there was a kid who wrote his notes in his pants and kept looking inside them for the answers. Yes, the teacher caught him.

Of course, every Biology and English class is something new and very weird... (mostly because of Brave New World and my teachers, not the subjects themselves)

Visited the middle school last week and saw that every classroom now has a smartboard. WE never had those back in the day...

Yesterday I saw a guy chasing after a girl in a Japanese kimono in the hallway while hitting her with a meter stick and yelling "MUSH".
