Well, Mystery Architecture was only around for one year this time around... I don't think that only being around for one year is enough reason for them to keep an event.
Oh, and your sig, the pessimism bit, is amazing- we have this running joke on our team about one of the members two years ago who has "magic pessimism". At Nats in '07, there were two events that he said he failed- he predicted 40th-60th in both of them- and he got 1st in one and 5th or something in the other.

hehe.
He actually predicts last in Disease at every competition. It's either "Oh, we failed, it was hard", or "Oh, it was too easy, everyone probably did better".
Then he got 1st in 9th grade, and 3rd this year.
Sadly, his predicition of 40-60 in herpetology was correct (47)
But that's ok, we always trust in his magic pessimism. By that we mean that we always trust that he's wrong.

It wasn't that bad, it was only drizzling. I found it funny that by the last period it was sunny.
yeah well, it was kinda slick... and all of the equipment was soggy or fogged up or something of the kind

Yeah, thankfully my team had the last time slot.

I actually didn't think the grass was that bad when my teammate and I walked by in the morning. I guess the only part it really mattered for were the four-person skis and the broom activities. Quite a shame that they're actually continuing this event.

I agree in the entirity!!! Our team bombed this event and I believe without this event, we would have finished 8th overall at states!!1
