Does anyone know what type of pollution (sediment, nitrates, phosphates?) the pollution tolerance classes refer to?

SALT means a metal and a nonmetal in an ionic bond. Table salt is a special salt, NaCl.

CaCO3 is also known as limestone, or calcite. It is also a salt, just not table salt.
